Rallies Against America

It’s baffling how backwards some thinking is about President Trump. He is a billionaire who has given up his quest for more financial success to be our President a second time even after all he endured during his first term. He has intentionally shrunk the size of our government returning more power to the states on many issues including education. He has cut the size of the IRS, brought light on the failed green agenda to reduce vehicle emissions. He donates his salary, which he also did during his previous presidency, donating it to a worthy charity that helps people. What kind of king gives up a life of luxury to subject himself and his family to constant ridicule, endless personal attacks and even attempts to put him in prison? He essentially works for free because of his love for America. He puts in long hours and works to restore our liberty and freedom. The man doesn’t sleep much but devotes his total effort to our nation’s success and well-being.

President Trump is the farthest thing from a king that we have had in the White House for a very long time.

If Democrats are really interested in rallying against tyranny in the White House, they should have done so during the Obama and Biden administrations.

Memories are short but the record remains.  It was under Obama that the federal government illegally spied on American citizens without a warrant, illegally weaponized the IRS against citizens organized to take back our government under the banner of the Tea Party, and illegally granted legal status to millions of illegal aliens.  The abuses of power were endless.

The same King-like behavior prevailed under Biden who was a proclaimed Catholic, but under his watch Catholics, pro-life grandmas and even stay-at-home moms felt his abusive power as he classified them as potential “extremist” threats, while he supported funding for abortion clinics.  He targeted parents who felt the need to speak up for their children at school-board meetings.  He weaponized the government against President Trump, his top political opponent, to attempt to undermine his re-election campaign – the most outrageous lawfare crusade in American history.

Even with these stark contrasts, hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets in all 50 states on March 28 in the third iteration of the “No Kings” marches. The first two last year drew similar media fanfare, but also revealed that the rallies are hardly the grassroots, citizen-led affairs they were made out to be.

Fox News reported that the protests were in fact organized and funded by “a network of about 500 groups with an estimated $3 billion in combined annual revenues.” They were successful in duping many unaware attendees who waved their professional signs and props.  One protest in Chicago had a massive depiction of the U.S. Constitution. As one X user noted, “No normal American could ever afford to have something like this made. This is the CLEAREST example of the massive funding behind the paid protest.”

One of the largest individual funders of the protests was liberal mega-donor George Soros – a Hungarian-born billionaire who has notoriously funded the progressive takeover of local prosecutors’ offices throughout the country. Soros’s extensive network of shadowy nonprofits and activist groups has its fingerprints all over the rallies.

To the open-minded person watching, it is abundantly clear that there is a deep irony and grotesque hypocrisy to this blatant effort to undermine our government and make unsubstantiated claims about our President.  Our government was founded by declaring independence from a foreign king, and therefore our government has no kings.  But the same people screaming this line in the streets are, in fact, doing the bidding of a foreign-born billionaire who is attempting to sabotage a duly elected president.  Go figure!

If anyone is acting like a king, it is the wealthy liberal elites pushing these protests, paying the organizers and some participants, and providing the paraphernalia to create the look of successful protests.  Just because they did not like the outcome of the 2024 election shouldn’t motivate such despicable behavior.  People who are turning out for these protests may think that they are opposing tyranny, but in reality they are just acting as pawns of tyrannical individuals in our society who seem dedicated to the downfall of America.

Even according to the most generous estimates, about seven million people attended the No Kings rallies nationwide (and there’s plenty of reason to doubt that figure). That is indeed a massive show of force – but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the 77.3 million people who voted for President Trump, or even the 75 million ballots counted for Kamala Harris.

This is important to keep in mind.  In our sensationalist, 24-hour media culture with seemingly everyone plugged into their personal screen or connection to what is going on in our society, a noisy minority almost always gets more attention than the silent majority. The No Kings rallies were designed to maximize turnout among the rabid anti-Trump Democrat base to push a false narrative to demoralize the Republican base before the midterms in November.

In other words, it’s not a principled crusade to stand up for democracy or defend America against undesirable influences.  If you remove the theatrics, the protests are not a rebellion against tyranny, but a carefully orchestrated exercise against our country.

As leftists rush to portray the rallies as a spontaneous democratic uprising against a wannabe dictator, they are in fact only acting as pawns of powerful interest groups that actually want monarchical control over American life.
